These, of course, require you to have some sort of microphone in (but many computers do). The unidirectional mono microphone should do you. Clip it on your lapel with the mic pointing towards your mouth and you'll be golden. If you need a USB microphone, a headset mic should be fine. Matt Haughey of Metafilter fame likes the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007SXHP0/" rel="nofollow">Logitech USB headset</a>.
